The pencil skirt is a classic of elegance and is absolutely among the skirts to have in your wardrobe. Glamorous and glamorous, it is the passe-partout for the party season and beyond.
Refined and with an ever-present charm, the pencil skirt was brought to success in the 1950s by Christian Dior who, in 1954, actually paraded very wearable pencils. There are countless variations on the theme that have allowed the white shirt to become an essential garment, a passe-partout that goes with everything. In multiple outfits, we realise that the shirt is no longer one and only one, starched and impeccably tailored, it is constantly transformed: casual with a pair of jeans or a short, blinged-out skirt, minimal with a tube skirt and out of the box when worn as a cover-up.
